A New Florida Home

Oh my goodness is florida

~ awesome~

a little hot and sticky right now but who cares

when you get to

jump into this

dad wanted me to come down and check out

his new digs

and well help him with

~designing and decorating~

I am really picking up on the

so I think i might be able to squeeze this into

my winter schedule

I am pinching myself

this is a big project and we have worked so

hard all week getting things lined up

for a big job ahead

~heaven for me~

a lot of stuff doesn't work

but that's fine with me

I love discovering

everything about it

but this is why he bought this place

he loves boats and there is 

three slips

&

deep water

and he's in the coolest little harbor

ok so maybe it's a bit hot

but I'm gonna suffer through it

I can't wait to tell you all about it

I'm so excited

I'll be home next week

Florida here I come

Leaving the baby grands

and heading for Florida

where the humidity is still going to be 

90%

but there will be ocean breezes

meeting my dad there

you see he just bought a winter home

and needs me to help him put it together

where's the best place to shop in

Fall is in the air but not here in D.C.

OMG the humidity is like 100% I swear

It feels like 

~Hawaii~

without the palm trees, ocean breezes, beautiful flowers

or

Mai Tai's


going through my daughters computer pictures

to see her in Germany
Those Germans know how to celebrate

there every year

The kids are enjoying themselves in Hawaii

we walk to the park everyday

very good for me until today when the humidity got me

how can ya'll take this heat and humidity...

i needed the nap at the end of that walk
and well forget the hair..
it's no longer curly just frizzy

we bake cookies

I am finding clothes are very over-rated

all you have to do is wash them

what's wrong with no clothes?

not very good for me as i can't turn away a good cookie

Madeline and I fight over them 

thank goodness for the walking and sweating..

we play London bridge 
under Oma's legs

we watch the dog Sugar

chase her tail

we play stickers

sometimes first thing in the morning

before Oma's even out of bed

oh how they dream of being able to do that

yesterday we ventured out shopping to 
~Wal-mart~
thank goodness the neighbor girl wanted to go 
with me to show me how to get there

we made a jewelry box for mommy

ok so i got a C- in art..
but I can balance a checkbook to the 
~penny~

we play dress up

"I want to put the warm soft coat on again"

then it's a bath and bedtime..

he looks so much like a baby
all wrapped up

lots of hugs and kisses
make it all worth it

then they fall asleep

I don't dare go into Charlie Bears room
after he's fallen asleep

but I miss my other sweetie

this was when he dropped me off

High Tea at Pinkadilly

Have you ever done Tea at

Pinkadilly 

in Fredricksburg, Virginia

It was so sweet

It was suppose to be just us 3

but a certain someone

promised he would be quiet and just watch

~yeah that didn't happen~

(the 2 fingers in the mouth mean TIRED)

but he didn't spoil our fun
