Master Bath Remodel day 1

It all started with this
~venetian mirror~
Wouldn't this be a great vanity mirror?
But I didn't have a vanity...

For the longest time...
well since the day we moved in
four long years ago
I have wanted to do something to the
~master bath~
The Hubs firsts words to me about the house after he saw it was...
"your not going to like the master bath"
~all blue fixtures~

So we changed out the sinks
and had the tub painted

blue pearl granite
is so much prettier now that it isn't
fighting the fixtures

I was now liking the blue pearl granite
but not the white carpet
I mean it feels good to walk on
but I know it is just wrong to have
wall to wall carpet on a bathroom floor
right?

Ok blue les toilette
you have to
~ go~
so to speak...

and there is a little problem getting into the
les toilette room
the door hit les toilette
hummmm....
so lets take out the door

and that wall will become a place to put a
~vanity~
because I am vain....
I need a place to sit and look at myself
and pluck those chin hairs

so how do we get in the
les toilette room...
a pocket door on the other side
genius!

We're getting started
wanna go along for the ride?

anybody need 2 huge beautiful blue
"Kohler Man Sinks"
 with moen fixtures
&
les toilette
to match?

Oh and that carpet....
can we say
~travertine~
with radiant heat

I'm over the moon
giddy with excitement...

because the contractor friend of ours
needs the hubs new toy
and we are
~horse trading~
otherwise I don't know if it
would have ever happened

stayed tuned for day 2

  2. Can't wait to see your new bathroom. That blue granite is very expensive! We had green carpet in our bathroom when we built the house. We were just too tired to put in tile at that point and just had the carpet guys run the bedroom carpet into the bathroom and then we redid it all a few years ago. Thank goodness we got things done before the hubby's job got bad!

  5. Our master bath is a disaster. It has a great window and a great tub, but everything else (including wall-to-wall carpet) has got to go.
I'll be watching your reno - have fun!
