I did a post on my little roosters last summer
so I am being lazy and re-posting this one
but adding a few new ones from this year
so let's take a look around my
little farm house
I hope to be able to add this guy to my chimney this year
see wouldn't he be cute right here...

I had NO clue I had so many until
I started taking their pictures....
I didn't feel I was on rooster overload
but now maybe I do....
Welcome
come in,
As you enter you see...roosters
The message board for the Hubs...
The light switch to the mud room/kitchen
Another note board
The powder room has my pie safe
oops these are hens
Ok now for the kitchen we shall take a closer look....
The top of the recipe file is all roosters
The first piece of art work I got for the kitchen
A night lite that I use every night
Even the paper towel holder..but the little gal..
my Mom carved is so sweet
The coffee spoon too
Every year I have a Warren Kimble calender
and sure enough he always has a rooster
The Hubs got the salt & pepper shaker because
they were the ones he had as a child..
Got these at a flea market, don't know what to do with them...
Love these TV trays....we've even
had the occasion to use them
Bought these at Warren Kimble's studio in Brandon, Vermont
They shipped them home..love, love, love these stools
Ok now I am starting to get embarressed..too many
thought I was done, then I found more...
See the little fly swatter...
Oh almost forgot the seat cushions
got these last fall
added these new plates to the holder this year
a gift from a very talented friend
an aubusson off ebay
I really do use this to call the Hubs in for dinner
Ok this is really crazy
this rooster infatuation...
but I've had some of these 10 years now
and still love em all
I don't think poultry will ever be out of style!
Thanks Sheila for hosting
this fun

ReplyDeleteI would love a house like that!!! So nice and the view! :-)
ReplyDeleteyou have all kinds of beautiful roosters!!! I love your house!!!
ReplyDeleteKathy, you have two homes? I have found so many bloggers with two homes. Just amazing. I would love to have another one to fix up. You do have a lot of roosters and I do too. I can't wait till I get some sun so I can start getting my rooster pics taken for the rooster party Friday. I have tons of roosters. Have a super day working outside and getting it all pretty.
ReplyDeleteVery cute roosters! You really do have many!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute house and so many darling roosters! I'm afraid the REST of the rooster gang won't find this post because it isn't at the top of your blog - - - maybe put a tiny post up there with a link to this so others will find it?
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely farm and such a lovely bunch of Rooster collectibles - from darling dinnerware to sweet ceramic Roosters, to the cute bell to call your hubs. A delightful party post to visit. Thank you :)
ReplyDeleteStopping over from the rooster party. Wow you have a lot!! I love the plates displayed in your plate rack. Your home and farm (LAKE) are beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteI love Hubs S&P roosters! All of your roosters are gorgeous. You DO have just a few! Hens are allowed. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat rooster party! Love your pics.
ReplyDeleteIrma :)
Your roosters are all just so cute. I don't think there could be a rooster overload, but having said that, I have more than I showcased. I begin to look around after my post, and discovered I had left some of my friends out of the party. I promised they could attend next year. Love your show, Char
ReplyDeleteOMG Kath, You DO have a lot of Roosters in there. lol But they fit right in this house. (That I've yet to see in person) Hint Hint.
ReplyDeleteYes, yes Kathy, I believe you are on Rooster overload. ;-) Great collection. I love the big guy in your kitchen window. You do have a very nice collection going there. And you have a lovely homestead.
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a very lovely week,

ReplyDeleteI have told you before how I love your home! Your roosters are great, too!!
Sorry for my late arrival to the party...I've been on vacation! I LOVE your rooster collection....lots of fun pieces :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Gail
HI Kathy! Oh, my goodness, I think you win hands down for so many Roos and Chicks! :) I love them all! Your home is so pretty and I adore your kitchen! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for coming to my party!
You are a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
You sure have a lot of cute roosters and chickens in your farmhouse! I couldn't help but notice your dining chairs are almost exactly like ours which came from Pennsylvania (hubby's aunt lived there and bought them there). Ours are probably 50 years old. I don't see that style often unless in a magazine. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteYou have so many cute roosters and chickens! Got a love that fly swatter;)
ReplyDeleteGirl...you have more roo's than me! And that is a LOT my friend. Thanks for sharing your beautiful country home with us, I adore it, and it looks so cozy too. Sounds like you have a lot on your plate these days. ME TOO!!~ My kids are running me ragged, can't wait for school to start. Of course I will miss them:)
ReplyDeleteOh how fun, they are here, there and everywhere. I especially like your chalkboard and wish I could make out the artist name on that print - it's fantastic.
