Rothenburg Highlights

Rothenburg, pronounced Rotenberg is a very cool German town surrounded by a moat with several gates where you enter.  I am a sucker for store windows, it always take a long time to get a good shot because so many people are crowded around them.  It was snowing off and on and felt more like Christmas than fall.  We loved our little hotel that was right outside the gates.  The owner was the cook and we had the best sauerbraten there, which is saying a lot because I am not a fan of German food.
