Girls gone wild

The high school girls got together tonight

Oh my did we have fun...

There was lots of

~reminiscing~

 

notice the school annuals

lots of catching up

These three got together the night before and two of them made it tonight

Our graduating class put up a facebook page

so everyone is starting to get back in touch

~what fun we had~

Patrice in the middle has been out of the county for

9 years

what we fun had talking travel...

I mean who has actually lived in Dubai?

HER!

These two I get to see frequently...Sharon on the right and I go all the way back to 2nd grade

Jolaine and I were due on the same day with our first child

After hours of talking , laughing and eating 

~Jill's mom makes the best damn cupcakes~

 well maybe drinking a little too...

they went home...

and while cleaning up

I was thinking of how lucky I am

~to have life long friends~

the kind that will be at your hospital bedside

plucking your chin hairs

Iron basket & a big ~wow~

We have been doing so much yard work

that I just had to snap some more pictures

of how things are finally progressing now that

we have had a few days of spring

notice I didn't say

~summer~

This was in the garage when we moved in

so this year I decided to do something

~with it~

~The back door~

where 99.9% of guests enter 

~our home~

that's the door

no one can find our

~front door~

well this back door area needs to be fun

for summer

~right~

(this was at the end of fall)

So the Hubs screwed in some wood

for the back

found some moss in the back yard

not hard to do in the soggy

~ Northwest ~

put in some really good soil

& plants

 a big screw in the wall

~voila~

a month ago

2 weeks ago

and today

Better right?

well since we've had very few days of

~sunshine~

I am happy with the progress

thanks for the help

~Hubs~

you know he's been so good with all this yard work

~this year~

he treated himself to a

father's day gift

it arrived today

now he really has work to do

forget the little basket stuff

he's got a

~big basket~

worth of work to do now!
