Recovered dining chairs

I love my new dining room chairs

they are just so happy now


this is one of those times i didn't tell 
the hubs
what i was up to...
do ya'll ever do that too?
anyway....
it took him 2 days to notice the chairs were gone



then he said 
"your not going to change that leather seat i hope"
no dear....
i didn't touch the leather
men and their leather...


so much better than before
this tapestry had purple in it
it was pretty but too...

i have some other material that i have
been saving for something and now i
have it figured out what i'm going to do with it

these rods should have been longer

Julie said she can have them done by 
before Christmas


so now you know what santa is bringing me 
this year...
i am so excited....
better right?

  1. The curtains will make those chairs just pop! They lighten up the room so much. One of my friends husband couldn't even remember they had striped wallpaper in the kitchen, once she had it taken down! We have lived in our house 10 years and my hubby still asks where the cookie sheets are?

  3. You were my neighbor at Wow Us Wed. I had to hop over and view the chairs. Fantastic job. I had to laugh about hubby not noticing the chairs missing. Sounds so familiar.
    The new fabric is great and goes well in that room. I am following (cuz) I want to see the drapes finished.
