.........Master Bath Paint Job

BEFORE

My master bathroom is HUGE.  That is a good thing/bad thing. If one needs to paint then it is a bad thing. The Hubs way underestimated the time this would take when he took on the job.  This was his idea too, so lucky me...look at the size of this wall...yikes
The rest of the house was white and the Hubs has been busy all month with painting it all a very neutral tan, Sherwin Williams Nomadic Desert SW 6107. However in this bathroom with all the caramel colors and "orange" cabinets we wanted a pop of color, but one that would also flow easily with the rest of the house. A long time RMS'r and now blogger friend Debbie suggested a warm mustard and guided me to one of her blogger friends who specializes in color and  she so politely commented on my blog with some ideas and..... viola, bless her heart she came back with Sherwin Williams SW6116 Tatami Tan.  This was very close on the color wheel from the Nomadic Desert and we raced off to the paint store!

So here it is done, what a perfect solution that I couldn't have figured out by myself. Thank you Donna  for being so generous and helpful.  I love the blog world.  I have found for those of us that struggle with design we are helped by the fortunate few gifted ones, how can we ever repay them for this, that is what I struggle with.

The next post should be HELP, what to do with this 12 foot long wall, I want this bathroom to feel like a spa, is there any hope???
