This is my
~porch~
when we moved in
there was nothing back here
this is my
~baby~
I thunk it up all by myself
~Before~
was just a little pink pad...
with all the rain in Seattle
and liking to entertain outside
we needed a covered porch
with a BBQ kitchen
The beautiful view
while enjoying the porch
or we can sit by the fire...
too early to put the TV out
darn this NW moisture
The little Japanese maples are in full bloom finally
Can you spot our new little
solar powered lantern?
We so love entertaining out here
We have some guests that come every night...
and they are so loud we can hardly hear ourselves
~think~
I am linking to Kim's Big
I almost didn't make this party
as I had one going on into the wee hours
~last night~
right here at my place..
my high school buds
if you want to see some great
porches you have to go
after checking out Kim's I can see that I have
a lot of work to do with
~fluffing~
If you want to see more of the before & afters on this project

Today was in the high 70's
The warmest day of the year...
we are all rejoicing
Absolutely gorgeous Kathy and that waterfall is stunning!! Martina
ReplyDeleteKathy, I am so jealous of your whole outside area. I love to listen to waterfalls and you have some beauties. Thanks for joining the party.

I love your porch! It is what I'm hoping for here, but probably never happen. I have a spot for my pond to be placed but need people with good backs to put it into motion. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteWow, thanks for sending me over here. I've been slowly trying to take peeks at all the wonderfulness of this huge block party & hadn't gotten to yours yet. It is so gorgeous! Well, your house--how do I put this? It is huge and BEAUTIFUL! I took a peek at your bathroom, too. Again, gorgeous! Your backyard is incredible, though, but you definitely need that lovely fireplace in that climate. The Man worked for the Navy in Bremerton when we were first married, so I do know what the lack of sun can do to you. Working for the Navy in the middle of the desert is much better -- at least we think so!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous! visiting from blog party. Our garden is only a year old. Seeing how lush yours is reminds me of our home we moved from. Working on getting it cozy. Just put in a pergola. Wish I had that fantastic fireplace! You did a great job of designing.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful-good job! I have frogs in my small pond and I am surprised the neighbors haven't turned me in to the noise police-they are some loud little fellows!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy! Thanks for your comment on Yummy Mummy this morning. Your porch is AMAZING! I am in love with your BBQ area. Great job. Love your blog. And I'm excited to hear you went to the Grand Wailea! We did the luau there and it was fantastic. Those water slides are so fun.
ReplyDeleteWOW is all I have to say! Oh and I am your newest follower!
